1. Purpose 

This agreement defines the mutual understanding between CASA and its volunteers. It clarifies that volunteering is voluntary and unpaid, and that together we are responsible for creating a safe, ethical, and inclusive environment that reflects CASA’s mission and values. 

3. Confidentiality 

I may have access to information about CASA’s operations, partners, or beneficiaries. I agree to: 
• Keep all such information confidential, including after my volunteer role ends. 
• Use information only for authorised CASA purposes. 
• Return or delete any CASA documents upon request or at the end of my involvement. 
• Refrain from sharing, forwarding, or storing any official CASA documents, spreadsheets, presentations, creative materials, or images outside CASA’s official Microsoft environment. 
• Understand that the Microsoft 365 environment (including CASA Email, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint) is CASA’s official workspace. All files, discussions, and records related to CASA activities must remain within this system. 
• Avoid sharing or publishing CASA content through any external platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Google Drive, or personal email accounts. 
These practices are essential to protect CASA’s intellectual property, privacy compliance, and continuity of operations. 

5. Optional Use of Personal Phone Number 

CASA communicates primarily through CASA email and Microsoft Teams. In some cases, volunteers may choose to include their personal phone number in their CASA email signature to make internal or partner communication easier. 
 
Sharing your phone number is completely optional. If you choose to authorise this use, CASA will include your existing number, already provided in your volunteer registration, only for operational and communication purposes related to your volunteer role and will not share it publicly without your consent. You may request the removal of your phone number from CASA’s systems or email signature at any time. 

6. Intellectual Property and Use of Materials 

Any photographs, written pieces, creative works, or digital materials I voluntarily produce for CASA may be used by CASA for organisational, educational, or promotional purposes. CASA acknowledges my moral rights as creator and will not use these materials in a misleading or harmful way. 

8. Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable People 

If my volunteer role involves contact with children or vulnerable individuals, I understand that I must hold and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance and comply with CASA’s safeguarding standards.
